Bearden High School, part of Knox County Schools in Knoxville, TN, is a recent recipient of a Teacher Team School Grant. Bearden is an innovative high school with plans of creating a personal learning environment for their students, so that each student at every learning level may reach their full potential. Using the grant the school is implementing learner-centric common assessments as a way to engage and motivate students and provide teachers critical data on student proficiency and progress to aid in the creation of a personal learning environment.
